How to Measure Your Head
Preparation: Use a flexible measuring tape. Measure your head as you would wear the wig. For example:
- If you have afro hair and plan to cornrow it to wear the wig, ensure your hair is in those same cornrows while measuring.
- If you have little hair, place it in a tight low bun and optionally wear a wig cap while measuring.
Flatten your hair for accurate measurements and write down your measurements in centimeters or inches.
Key Measurements:
1. Circumference: Measure around your head, just above the ears and across the hairline.
2. Front to Nape: Measure from your hairline at the center of your forehead to the nape of your neck.
3. Ear to Ear Across Forehead: Measure from one ear to the other across your hairline.
4. Ear to Ear Over Top: Measure from ear to ear over the top of your head.
5. Temple to Temple: Measure from one temple to the other around the back of your head.
6. Nape of Neck: Measure the width of your nape.
